FAQ

Are your fragrances 100% authentic?
Yes, absolutely. We source all of our fragrances directly from official distributors and the original perfume houses across the UAE and the Middle East (including Lattafa, Afnan, Armaf, and Rasasi). We have a zero-tolerance policy for counterfeits or imitations. Every bottle ships in its original, sealed manufacturer packaging with official batch codes.

Why are Middle Eastern fragrances so affordable compared to Western designer/niche brands?
United Arab Emirates-based fragrance houses benefit from localized, high-volume production ecosystems, regional access to premium essential perfume oils, and lower global marketing overheads compared to European luxury design houses. This allows them to deliver extraordinary oil concentrations, complex blending, and heavy crystal bottle packaging at a fraction of the cost.

What is the difference between an EDP, Parfum, and Extrait de Parfum?
The difference lies in the concentration of raw perfume oils dissolved in alcohol:

Eau de Parfum (EDP): Typically contains 15%–20% oil concentration, offering 6–8 hours of performance.

Parfum / Extrait de Parfum: The highest luxury tier, containing 20%–40% pure perfume oil. These are deeper, project heavily, and routinely last 10+ hours or overnight.

Why can fragrance shipping sometimes take slightly longer?
Perfumes contain alcohol, classifying them as "Dangerous Goods" under international transit laws. Because of this, they cannot always travel on standard rapid passenger aircraft and require specialized, secure ground or cargo routing to comply with safety laws. We prioritize handling these regulations flawlessly so your package arrives safely.

Can I change or cancel my delivery address after ordering?
We line up orders for fulfilment almost immediately to ensure fast shipping. If you notice an error in your address, please contact our support team within 2 hours of placing your order. Once a tracking number has been generated and the package has left our hands, we cannot redirect or cancel the shipment.

Fragrance Performance & Scent Profiles
What are "Fragrance Notes" (Top, Heart, and Base)?
A fragrance unfolds over time like a story, shifting across three distinct layers:

Top Notes: The immediate burst you smell upon spraying (usually bright citruses, fresh fruits, or light spices). Lasts 10–30 minutes.

Heart (Middle) Notes: The true character and core personality of the perfume (often florals, deep spices, or green notes). Emerges as the top notes fade and lasts 2–4 hours.

Base Notes: The heavy, long-lasting foundation of the fragrance (oud, amber, musk, vanilla, woods). This anchors the blend to your skin and lasts for 8+ hours.

What do "Sillage" and "Projection" mean?
Projection: How far the fragrance travels through the air outward from your body (e.g., leaving a 3-foot bubble around you vs. staying close to the skin).

Sillage: The lingering scent trail or "cloud" you leave behind in a room or hallway after you have walked away.

Why does a perfume smell different on my skin than on paper or on someone else?
Your personal skin chemistry plays a massive role in how a fragrance develops. Factors like your skin's natural oil levels (sebum), moisture content, diet, and even body temperature interact directly with the perfume oils. Dry skin absorbs oils faster, causing scents to fade sooner, whereas oily skin anchors base notes for a much longer period.
